Yale has graduated many notable alumni, including five U.S. Presidents, 19 U.S. Supreme Court Justices, 13 living billionaires, and many foreign heads of state.

In addition, Yale has graduated hundreds of members of Congress and many high-level U.S. diplomats. 52 Nobel laureates, 5 Fields Medalists, 230 Rhodes Scholars, and 118 Marshall Scholars have been affiliated with the University.

Academic offer:

Yale is organized into fourteen schools: the original undergraduate college, the Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and twelve professional schools. Each school’s faculty oversees its curriculum and degree programs. Also the University owns athletic facilities in western New Haven, including the Yale Bowl, a campus in West Haven, Connecticut, and forest and nature preserves throughout New England.

The Yale University Library, serving all constituent schools, holds more than 15 million volumes and is the third-largest academic library in the United States.

Housing:

Whether you are coming to Yale as a single student, or as a family, a variety of opportunities to connect with the on-campus community are available to you. It is the goal of the Residence Life Program to help develop a sense of community while residing in Yale Housing. You may take advantage of events planned for your building, join a residence council, children’s playgroup, and educational forums on relevant topics for students and their families.

Sports:

Yale has over 30 men’s and women’s varsity teams; over 40 club sports (most co-ed); and undergraduate and graduate intramural programs.

Yale’s athletic facilities include a golf course and centers for tennis, polo, sailing, ice hockey, and more.
